Traffic and Power Block between Asangaon and Kasara on March 17

Central Railway will operate a Traffic and Power Block between Asangaon and Kasara Up and Dn lines for launching of FOB girders and removal of redundant OHE structures on March 17 from 10.50 hrs to 12.50 hrs. Due to this infrastructure upgrade block, the train running pattern will be as under:

Cancellation and Partial Cancellation of Suburban trains

· Down and Up suburban services between Asangaon and Kasara will remain cancelled during the Block period

· Suburban trains for Kasara leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 09.41 hrs and 10.16 hrs will be terminated at Asangaon.

· Suburban trains to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus leaving Kasara at 11.12 hrs and 12.19 hrs will run Ex Asangaon at 11.49 hrs and 12.56 hrs respectively.

Cancellation of Dn Express/Passenger Trains on March 17

Cancellation of Up Express /Passenger Trains

Diversion of Express train

11026 UP Pune-Bhusaval Express of March 17 will be diverted to run via Daund-Manmad.

Regulation of Dn Express Trains

Down Mail/Express trains leaving Mumbai on March 17will be regulated short of Asangaon station from 10 to 30 minutes.

Regulation of Up Express Trains

Up Mail/Express trains arriving Mumbai on March 17 will be regulated short of Kasara from 20 minutes to 90 minutes.

Central Railway will operate Mega Block on main line and harbour line for carrying out maintenance work on Sunday 17.03.2019.

MATUNGA-MULUND DN SLOW LINE FROM 11.30 AM TO 3.30 PM

Dn slow line services leaving Matunga from 11.25 am to 3.21 pm will be diverted on Dn fast line between Matunga and Mulund stations halting at Sion, Kurla, Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup and Mulund stations and further re-diverted to Dn slow line proper at Mulund station.

Dn slow line services will not be available at Vidyavihar, Kanjur Marg and Nahur Stations. Passengers of these stations are allowed to travel via Ghatkopar, Bhandup and Mulund stations.

Up fast/semi fast services leaving Kalyan from 10.54 am to 3.06 pm will halt at Diva, Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule.

Dn fast/semi fast services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus from 10.48 am to 3.40 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup, Mulund and Diva stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and arrive destination 20 minutes behind schedule.

All Dn and Up slow services leaving/arriving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus between 11.00 am and 5.00 pm will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.

Kurla-Vashi Up and Dn harbour lines from 11.10 am to 3.40 pm

All Dn Harbour line services departing from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai to Vashi / Belapur / Panvel from 10.34 am to 3.08 pm and all Up harbour line services departing from Panvel / Belapur / Vashi towards Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus from 10.21 am to 3.00 pm will remain cancelled.

However, special services will be run during the block period on Panvel-Vashi and Kurla-Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus sections.

Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via main line and Transharbour line from 10.00 am to 4.30 pmDue to this block, suburban trains are likely to be more crowded than usual. Passengers are requested not to take any risks while travelling. They are also requested to avoid travelling on foot board, roof top of locals and not to board extremely over crowded trains. These maintenance mega blocks are essential for infrastructure upkeep and safety. Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused.
