Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) will run two more pairs of festival special
trains this week for passengers wanting to travel to Katihar and Jogbani.
Among the two new trains, Special Train No. 04428 will leave from Anand Vihar Terminus at 09-00 hrs. every day except on Tuesday and Friday to reach Jogbani next day at 13-15 hrs. The train will run from 11 November to 21 November, 2020.
In return direction, Special Train No. 04427 will leave from Jogbani at 17-
15 hrs. everyday except on Wednesday and Saturday to reach Anand Vihar Terminus next day at 22-15 hrs. The train will run from 12 November to 22 November, 2020.
These special trains will run via Shahpur Patoree and will have stoppages at Ghaziabad, Moradabad, Bareily, Lucknow, Varanasi, Pt. Deen Dayal
Upadhyay Jn., Buxer, Ara, Patliputra, Hajipur, Barauni Jn., Begusarai, Khagaria Jn., Naugachia, Katihar Jn., Purnia Jn., Arariya Court and Forbesganj. There will be 14 chair cars, 6 sleeper class coaches apart
from 2 luggage vans in these trains.
Anand Vihar- Katihar – Anand Vihar special
Another pair of Special train will also be run on single-trip basis between Anand Vihar and Katihar to clear extra rush of passengers. Train No. 04440 will leave from Anand Vihar Terminus at 13-45 hrs. on 13 th November, 2020 to reach Katihar Jn. next day at 19-20 hrs. In return direction, Special Train No. 04439 will leave from Katihar Jn. at 6-00 hrs. on 15 th November, 2020 to reach Anand Vihar Terminus next day at 13- 15 hrs.
This special train will have stoppages at Chipyana Buzurg, Aligarh Jn., Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Gonda Jn., Balrampur, Naugarh, Gorakhpur Jn., Siswa Bazar, Narkatiaganj Jn., Bettiah, Bapudham Motihari, Muzaffarpur Jn., Samastipur Jn., Khagaria Jn., Saharsa Jn., Dauram Madhepura, Banmankhi Jn. and Purnia Jn.
There will be 8 sleeper class coaches, 10 general second class coaches apart from 2 luggage vans in these trains.
