Vadodara High-Speed Rail Station: NHSRCL Signs Design, Construction Agreement With L&T

NHSRCL has today signed an agreement with Larsen & Toubro (L&T) for the design and construction of another stretch of the Mumbai Ahmedabad High Speed Rail project.

This agreement was for the MAHSR C-5 Package for the design and construction of an 8-kilometre long viaduct and the high-speed rail station at Vadodara on the route, according to a statement released by NHSRCL.

The Vadodara High-Speed Rail station will be constructed above the present platform 7 of the existing Indian Railways Vadodara station.

All MAHSR Contracts for Gujarat warded by NHSRCL

With this, NHSRCL has awarded 100% civil contracts for the construction of MAHSR alignment in the state of Gujarat. 352 km of the total 508 km of the Mumbai Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail route is situated in the state.

Contracts for eight HSR stations; Sabarmati, Ahmedabad, Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Billimora and Vapi) and two rolling stock depots at Sabarmati and Surat have also been awarded,
