Western Railway has announced the introduction of several new reserved and unreserved special trains. details below.
Al reserved trains will run as special trains on special fare upto 15th June 2021 and at normal fare thereafter. All unreserved trains will be chargeable at Mail/Express fare.
For the convenience of passengers and with a view to meet the travel demand, Western Railway has decided to run 11 additional special trains between various destinations over Indian Railways. Similarly, 7 Unreserved MEMU Specials and one unreserved express will also run till further advice to different destinations over WR.
According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, the details of these special trains are as under:
1. Train No. 09403/09404 Ahmedabad–Sultanpur Weekly Superfast Special
Train No. 09403 Ahmedabad – Sultanpur Weekly Superfast Special will depart from Ahmedabad at 07.50 hrs on Tuesday and will reach Sultanpur at12.00 hrs. the next day w.e.f. 13th April 2021 till further advice. Similarly, Train No. 09404 Sultanpur – Ahmedabad Weekly Superfast Special will depart from Sultanpurat 18.05 hrs on Wednesday and will reach Ahmedabad at 22.00hrs the next day w.e.f. 14th April 2021 till further advice.
En route this train will halt at Sabarmati, Mahesana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Falna, Marwar, Ajmer, Jaipur, Alwar, Rewari, Gurgaon, Delhi Cantt., Delhi Jn., Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow, Nihalgarh and Musafirkhana stations in both directions. The train comprises AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and Second Class Seating coaches.
2. Train No. 09409/09410 Ahmedabad – Gorakhpur Bi-Weekly Express Special
Train No. 09409 Ahmedabad-Gorakhpur Bi-Weekly Special Express will depart from Ahmedabad at 09.50 hrs on Thursdays & Saturdays and will reach Gorakhpur at 16.55 hrs. the next day w.e.f. 15th April 2021 till further advice. Similarly, Train No. 09410 Gorakhpur – Ahmedabad Bi-weekly Special Express will depart from Gorakhpur at 05.00 hrs on Mondays & Saturdays and will reach Ahmedabad at 11.00 hrs on the next day w.e.f. 17th April 2021 till further advice.

3. Train No 09421/22 Ahmedabad-Patna Weekly Express Special
Train No 09421 Ahmedabad- Patna Weekly Express Special will leave Ahmedabad every Sunday at 21.50 hrs & will reach Patna at 03.50 hrs on Tuesday (third day) w.e.f 11th April 2021 till further advice. Similarly, Train No 09422 Patna- Ahmedabad Weekly Express Special will leave Patna every Tuesday at 10.15 hrs & will reach Ahmedabad at 17.45 hrs, the next day w.e.f 13th April 2021 till further advice.
Enroute the train will halt at Nadiad, Anand, Chhayapuri, Dahod, Ratlam, Nagda, Ujjain, Berchha, Shujalpur, Sehore, Sant Hirda Ram Nagar, Vidisha, Bina, Saugor, Damoh, Katni Murwara, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Jn, Prayagraj Rambag, Gyanpur Road, Varansi, Kashi, Pt. 4. Train No 02937/38 Gandhidham – Howrah Weekly Superfast Special
Train No 02937 Gandhidham – Howrah Weekly Superfast Special will leave Gandhidham every Saturday at 18.00 hrs& will reach Howrah at 12.55 hrs on Monday (third day) w.e.f 10th April 2021 till further advice. Similarly, Train No 02938 Howrah – Gandhidham Weekly Superfast Special will leave Howrah every Monday at 23.00 hrs & will reach Gandhidham at 14.55 hrs on Wednesday (third day) w.e.f 12th April 2021 till further advice.
En route the train will halt at Samakhiyali, Dhangadhra, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota, Agra Fort, Tundla, Kanpur Central, Prayagraj Jn., Pt. Train No 09493 Gandhidham – Puri Weekly Superfast Special Express will leave Gandhidham every Friday at 23.05 hrs & will reach Puri at 14.25 hrs on Sunday (third day) w.e.f 16th April 2021 till further advice. Similarly, Train No 09494 Puri – Gandhidham Weekly Superfast Special Express will leave Puri every Monday at 20.00 hrs & will reach Gandhidham at 11.25 hrs on Wednesday (third day) w.e.f. 19th April 2021 till further advice.

Similarly, Train No.09060 Muzaffarpur – Surat Weekly Special Express will depart from Muzaffarpur every Sunday at 20.10 hrs and will arrive Surat at 17.00 hrs on Tuesday (third day) w.e.f. 18th April 2021 till further advice.
The train will halt at Vadodara, Ratlam, Ujjain, Maksi, Biyavra Rajgarh, Guna, Ashok Nagar, Bina, Jhansi, Gwalior, Agra Cantt, Tundla, Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Faizabad, Ayodhya, Shahganj, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Chhapra and Hajipur stations in both directions. The train will have AC 2 Tier cum AC 3 Tier, Sleeper Class and Second seating coaches.
9. Train No. 09260/59 Bhavnagar – Kochuveli Weekly Special Express
Train No. 09260 Bhavnagar- Kochuveli Weekly Special Express will depart from Bhavnagar at 10.05 hrs every Tuesday and will reach Kochuveli at 04.00 hrs, on Thursday (third day) w.e.f. 13th April 2021 till further advice. Similarly, Train No. 09259 Kochuveli – Bhavnagar Weekly Special Express will depart from Kochuveli at 15.45 hrs every Thursday and will reach Bhavnagar at 12.25 hrs on Saturday (third day) w.e.f. 15th April 2021 till further advice.
The train will halt at Sihor Gujarat, Dhola, Botad, Joravarnagar, Ahmedabad, Nadiad, Anand, Vadodara, Ankleshwar, Surat, Vasai Rd, Panvel, Roha, Chipun, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Thivim, Madgaon, Karwar, Kumta, Byndoor, Udupi, Mangalore Jn., Kasaragod, Kannur, Thalassery, Kozhikkode, Tirur, Shoranur, Thrisur, Aluva, Ernakulam, Kottayam, Tiruvalla Chengannur, Kayankulam and Kollam stations in both directions. Similarly, Train No. 09412 Lucknow – Ahmedabad Weekly Express Special will depart from Lucknow every Tuesday at 22.55 hrs to reach Ahmedabad at 01.00 hrs on Thursday (third day) w.e.f. 13th April 2021 till further advice.

Similarly, Train No. 09408 Varanasi – Ahmedabad Weekly Express Special will depart from Varanasi every Saturday at 15.35 hrs to reach Ahmedabad at 22.00 hrs, the next day w.e.f. 17th April 2021 till further advice.

Train No. 09571 Rajkot – Porbandar Daily Unreserved Express Special will leave Rajkot daily at 07.00 hrs to reach Porbandar at 11.35 hrs, on the same day w.e.f. 4th April 2021 till further advice. Similarly, Train No. 09572 Porbandar – Rajkot Daily Unreserved Express Special will depart from Porbandar daily at 14.30 hrs to reach Rajkot at 18.40 hrs on the same day w.e.f. 4th April 2021 till further advice.
The train will halt at Gondal, Virpur, Navagarh, Jetalsar, Dhoraji, Upleta, Bhayavadar, Paneli Moti, Jam Jodhpur, Balwa, Wansjaliya and Ranavav stations in both directions. The halt at Bhaktinagar is temporarily withdrawn due to ongoing engineering work.
