Vivek Khare, a 1989 batch officer of the Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineering (IRSME) took charge as the new General Manager of Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) on November 1, 2026.
Prior to this, he was posted as Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer of Modern
Coach Factory, Rae Bareli.
