Central Railway has decided to start a daily special train between Dadar and Sawantwadi from 26th September 2020.
The service will be fully reserved and bookings are to start from tomorrow, 24th September 2020.
Initially, the service will run with monsoon timetable and then switch to the regular timetable from 1st November 2020. Details of monsoon and regular timings below:
Monsoon Timings
1) Dadar-Sawantwadi Road Special train
01003 Special train will leave Dadar at 00.05 hrs daily from 26.9.2020 to 31.10.2020 and arrive Sawantwadi Road at 12.20 hrs same day.
01004 special train will leave Sawantwadi Road at 17.30 hrs daily from 26.9.2020 to 31.10.2020 and arrive Dadar at 6.45 hrs next day.
Halts: Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Savarda, Aravali Road, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Vilavade, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg and Kudal.
Non-Monsoon timings
2) Dadar-Sawantwadi Road Special train
01003 Special train will leave Dadar at 00.05 hrs daily from 1.11.2020 till further advise and arrive Sawantwadi Road at 10.40 hrs same day.
01004 special will leave Sawantwadi Road at 18.50 hrs daily from 1.11.2020 till further advise and arrive Dadar at 6.45 hrs next day.
Halts: Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Savarda, Aravali Road, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Vilavade, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Nandgaon Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg and Kudal.
Composition: One AC-2 Tier, four AC-3 Tier, 8 Sleeper Class, 6 second class seating reserved coaches.
Reservation: Bookings for 01003/01004 special trains will commence from 24.09.2020 at all Reservation Centres and on website: www.irctc.co.in
