It is equipped with an Integrated Train Management System (TMS) and Supervisory, Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) System in India, built on Alstom’s ICONIS platform.

An integrated SCADA system will enable Traction Controllers to monitor, control and remotely operate Power Supply Equipment at Traction Sub-Stations (TSS), Sectioning and Paralleling Posts (SP) and Sub-Sectioning & Paralleling Posts (SSP) through SCADA for the entire network. It would also allow monitoring and control of other Auxiliary Substations and equipment such as HVAC, Fire Alarms at Stations, Depots and OCC from single location.

The OCC developed by Alstom, is an example of “Make-in-India” endeavour.
