Southern Railway to run Festival Special trains

In view of Thai Amavasai Festival, special express trains are arranged to run on Madurai – Rameswaram section. 

Train No. 06091 Madurai – Rameswaram special express train will leave Madurai at 23.45 hrs on Wednesday (10.02.20201) and reach Rameswaram at 03.00 hrs. on the next day. 

Another service Train No. 06097 Madurai – Rameswaram special express train leave Madurai at 06.45 hrs on Thursday (11.01.2021) and reach Rameswaram at 10.00 hrs. 

In the return direction, Train No. 06092 Rameswaram – Madurai Special express train will leave Rameswaram at 10.00 hrs on Thursday (11.02.2021) and reach Madurai at 13.15 hrs.

Another service, Train No. 06098 Rameswaram – Madurai special express train will leave Rameswaram on Thursday (11.02.2021) at 16.30 hrs and reach Madurai at 19.30 hrs. 

These trains will halt at Madurai East, Manamadurai, Paramakudi, Ramanathapuram and Pamban Railway stations. These trains are reserved special trains and advance reservation of tickets is essential to travel by these trains

Advance Reservation for the above special Trains will open at 18.00 hrs o­n 10^th February, 2021
