Indian Railways has drawn a tentative schedule for testing 24-coach trains at 130 kmph between Ballarshah – Secunderabad and Gooty-Renigunta. As per the tentative schedule, the trials will be conducted between Secunderabad and Ballarshah on July 11, 2020. The RDSO trial rake will return to Secunderabad the next day conducting the Confirmatory Oscillograph Car Run.
Gooty – Renigunta trials
IR will also be conducting COCR trials for 130 kmph speed between Gooty and Renigunta in South Central Railway. The trials between Gooty- Renigunta has been tentatively scheduled on July 13, 2020. In the return leg, this trial will be done on July 14, 2020.
The 24- coach rake is likely to be hauled by a WAP5/ WAP7 locomotive at the helm for the trial run.
