It is a glorious triumph indeed when 9 stations under Asansol Division of Eastern Railway including Asansol, Andal, Durgapur, Basukinath, Baidyanathdham, Jasidih, Madhupur, Raniganj and Deoghar have been awarded ISO 14001 as a mark of recognition of their efforts towards Environment Management system and over all cleanliness.
Passenger amenities, overall cleanliness, maintaining environment compatibility are broadly the yardsticks of achieving the glorious certificate where all the above nine stations of the Asansol Division fulfilled the criteria successfully.
These are new feathers attached to the heritageous cap of ER.
