Howrah Siuri express extended to Radhikapur

IR has extended Train Number 13053 / 54 Howrah-Siuri express to Radhikapur.

Radhikapur is an important Railway Station of Katihar Division that falls under Kaliaganj Community Development Block of Uttar Dinajpur district, West Bengal. It is situated near Birol, a major transit point of Indo – Bangladesh border.

The extended train will leave will leave Radhikapur at 11.30 hrs each day and reach Howrah at 23.00 hrs covering the 474 km distance in 11 hours and 30 minutes. In the return journey, the train will leave Howrah at 08.35 hrs each day to reach Radhikapur at 19.40 hrs covering the distance in 11 hours and 05 minutes. This will serve the people of Radhikapur, Kaliganj, Raiganj and adjoining areas.

At present there is only one express train connecting Radhikapur with Kolkata which leaves Radhikapur at 17.50 hrs everyday and reach Kolkata at 05.50 hrs next day covering the distance of 474 km in 12 hours.
