Projects taken up by IR-Part -5

Indian Railways (IR) has taken up the following projects for implementation. For ease of reading , we at www.railpost.in have sub divided the long list into several parts . The list of projects under part -5 is as as follows:

CSMT-Kurla 5 & 6 Line (MUTP-II) (17.5 km) at Rs 891 crore

Mumbai Central-Borivali 6 Line (MUTP-II) (30 km)  at Rs 919 crore

Extension of Harbour Line from Goregaon-Borivali (MUTP-IIIA) (7 km) at Rs 826 crore

Borivali-Virar 5 and 6 Line (MUTP-IIIA) (26 km) at Rs 2,184 crore

Virar-Dahanu Road 3 and 4 Line (MUTP-III) (64 km)  at Rs 3,587 crore

Panvel-Karjat Suburban Corridor (MUTP-III) (29.6 km)  at Rs 2,782 crore

Airoli-Kalwa (elevated) Suburban Corridor link (MUTP-III) (3.3 km) at Rs 476 crore

Kalyan-Asangaon 4 Line (MUTP-IIIA) (32 km) at Rs 1,759

Kalyan-Badlapur 3 & 4 line (MUTP-IIIA) (14 km) at Rs 1,510

Kalyan-Kasara 3 Line (67 km) at Rs 793 crore

Naigaon-Juichandra double chord Line (6 km) at Rs 176 crore

Nilaje-Kopar double chord Line (5 km) at Rs 338 crore

Kalyan Yard remodeling work at Rs 86 crore

Tirunnavaya –Guruvayur new line (35 Km) at Rs 138 crore

Angamali-Sabarimala new line (111 km) at Rs 3,801 crore

Ernakulam-Kumbalam doubling (8 km) at Rs 595 crore

 Kumbalam-Thuravur Patch doubling (16 km) at Rs 803 crore

Trivandrum- Kanyakumari doubling (87 km) at Rs 3,786 crore

Shoranur – Vallathol doubling (10 km) at Rs 367 crore

Palakkad Town – Parli bypass line (2 Km) at Rs 164 crore

Alappuzha- Ambalapuzha doubling (13 Km) at Rs 324 crore

Turavur – Mararikulam doubling (21 Km) at Rs 451 crore
