Projects taken up by IR-Part -6

Indian Railways (IR) has taken up the following projects for implementation. For ease of reading , we at www.railpost.in have sub divided the long list into several parts . The list of projects under part -6 is as as follows:

Tindivanam-Nagari new line (184 km)  at Rs 3,631 crore

Morappur-Dharmapuri new line (36 km) at Rs 359 crore

Nagapattinam-Tiruturaipundi new line (43 km) at Rs 742 crore

Trivandrum-Kanyakumari doubling (87 km) at Rs 3,785 crore

Arakkonam yard 3rd and 4th line (6 km) at Rs 98 crore

Perambur – Ambattur 5th and & 6th lines (6 km) at Rs 178 crore

Irugur-Podanur doubling (11 km) at Rs 277 crore

Tambaram-Chengalpattu 4th Line (30 km) at Rs 757 crore

Attipattu-Gummidipundi 3rd and 4th  line (23 km) at Rs 375 crore

Tirupati-Pakala-Katpadi doubling (105 km) at Rs 1332 crore

Tindivanam-Gingee-Tiruvannamalai new line (71 km) at Rs 1400 crore

Atipattu – Puttur new line (88 km)at Rs 1700 crore

Chennai – Cuddalore via Mahabalipuram new line (179 km) at Rs 2670 crore

Junagarh-Nabarangpur new line (116 km) at Rs 2,865 crore

Nabarangpur-Jeypore new line (41 km) at Rs 748 crore

Jeypore-Malkangiri new line (130 km) at Rs 2,344 crore

Malkangiri – Pandurangapuram new line (174 km) at Rs 3,592 crore

Buramara-Chakulia new line (60 km) at Rs 1,459 crore

Gunupur-Therubali new line (74 km) at Rs 1,166 crore

Puri – Konark new line (32 km) at Rs 492 crore

Badampahar-Kendujhargarh new line (82 km) at Rs 1,876 crore

Bangriposi-Gorumahisani new line (86 km) at Rs 2,269 crore

Bargarh Road-Nawapara Road new line (138 km) at Rs 2,622 crore

Vizianagram-Titlagarh 3rd line (265 km) at Rs 6,996 crore

Jarapada- Budhapank 3rd and 4th  line with flyover at Talcher (101 km) at Rs 810 crore

Budhapank- Salegaon via Rajatgarh 3rd and 4th line (170 km) at Rs 2,023 crore

 Nergundi – Vizianagaram 3rd line (385 km) at Rs 4,963 crore

Kottavalasa-Koraput doubling (189 km) at Rs 2,500 crore

Koraput-Singapur Road doubling (165 km) at Rs 2,362 crore

Jagdalpur-Koraput doubling (107 km) at Rs 1,547 crore

Jharsuguda-Bilaspur 4th line (206 km) at Rs 2,596 crore

Bondamunda-Ranchi doubling (159 km) at Rs 3,029 crore

Narayangarh-Bhadrak 3rd line (153 km) at Rs 2,136 crore

Bhadrak-Nergundi 3rd Line (92 km) at Rs 1,284 crore

Nangal Dam- Daulatpur Chauk-Talwara-Mukerian (123 km) at Rs 2018 crore

Chandigarh-Baddi  new line (33 km) at Rs 1540 crore

Baddi-Ghanauli new line (25 km) DPR prepared

Bhanupalli-Bilaspur-Beri new line (63km) at Rs 6753 crore

Bilaspur – Manali – Leh New line (489 km) -DPR prepared, anticipated cost is Rs 131000 crore as tunnel length is 270-km

Pathankot – Joginder Nagar gauge conversion (200 km) – DPR has been sanctioned
