Western Railway’s (WR) Construction Organization has floated tenders for the construction of two more sections on the Chhotaudepur-Dhar New BG line project at a total cost of Rs 3097.60 crore.
The sections are
- Tanda Road (Excluding) to Jamaniya (Including) – a 24.63- km section at a cost of Rs 1829.95 crore
- Jamaniya (Excluding) to Tirla (Excluding)- a 21.08-km section at a cost of Rs 1267.65 crore
The project details are as follows:
Tanda Road (Excluding) to Jamaniya (Including)
The project includes composite Work (Civil, Electrical and S&T) comprising formation, viaducts, minor/major bridges, RUBs/Subways, station buildings, staff quarters, platforms, passenger amenities, supply & spreading of ballast.
Track linking and P-Way works, along with Design, Supply, Erection, Testing & Commissioning of 25 kV AC OHE and Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Telecom Outdoor Systems including trenching, laying, blowing, splicing & jointing of 48F x 2 OFC on both sides of the track, one-side Quad cable, emergency communication system and other associated works are also included.
These works will be executed between Tanda Road (Excluding) to Jamaniya (Including) from Chainage KM 101.29 to Chainage KM 125.92 (Length: 24.63 Km). The estimated project cost is Rs 1829.95 crore and the period of completion, 36 months according to the tender document. The tender closes on October 9,2026.
Jamaniya (Excluding) to Tirla (Excluding)
