WR to run special trains to New Delhi, Bhavnagar and Mangalore for Republic Day

To clear the Republic Day rush, Western Railway has announced special trains to New Delhi, Bhavnagar and Mangalore respectively.

Mumbai – New Delhi Special

Train No. 09005 AC Special will leave from Mumbai Central for New Delhi at 1600 hours on January 25 and reach the next morning at 0755 hours halting at Vadodara and Kota. In its return leg train number 09006 will depart from New Delhi at 14:50 hrs on January 26 and reach Mumbai Central at 06 :55 hrs, the next day. 

The train will have AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier and a Pantry car. 

Bandra – Bhavnagar Special

A special train No. 09041 / 09042 Bandra Terminus – Bhavnagar – Bandra Terminus will leave Bandra at 0020 hours on January 26 and reach its destination on the same day at 1405 hours. On its return leg, it will leave Bhavnagar on January 26 at 16:10 hrs and reach Bandra at 06:15 hrs, the next day

The train will have AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class, General Second Class and a pantry car with halts at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, Nadiad, Ahmedabad, Viramgam and Botad stations in both directions.

Bandra – Mangalore Special

Finally, another special train 09009/09010 Bandra Terminus- Mangalore-Bandra   will leave Bandra at 2345 hours on January 24 via Vasai Road, Panvel and Madgaon and reach Mangalore the next day at 1930 hours.

While returning, the train will leave Mangalore at 2300 hours on January 25 and reach Bandra at 1930 hours on January 26.

It will have AC 2 Tier, AC 3 Tier, Sleeper Class and Second General Class coaches.

Bookings for all three trains will open effective January 23, 2019
