The Union budget has provided a net plan outlay of Rs 4830 crore for FY22. The major heads under which allocation has been done are as follows:-

Solapur-Osmanabad new line via Tuljapur 84 km – Rs.20 crore

Doubling/3rd Line/4th Line – Major outlay

Kalyan-Kasara 3rd line 67 km – Rs.168.24 crore

Wardha-Nagpur 3rd line 76 km – Rs.46.21 crore

Teegaon-Chichonda 3rd ghat line            16.53 km – Rs.25 crore

Wardha-Balharshah 3rd line 132 km – Rs.146 crore

Itarsi-Nagpur balance – Rs.261 crore

Panvel – Kalamboli coaching terminus (Phase-I) (Stage-I) – Rs.10 crore

Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai – Extension of platform Nos 10,11,12 & 13 for 24 coaches – Rs.20 crore

Hadapsar – Development as satellite terminal – Rs.8.36 crore

Ajni – Development as satellite terminal – Rs. 4.25 crore

Pune – Extension of platform for 24/26 coaches and removal of DDS – Rs.13 crore

Mechanical -– Major outlay

Ratnagari – Setting up of rolling stock component factory       Rs.15 crore

Latur – Setting up of coach manufacturing factory                    Rs.45 crore

Passenger Amenities – Major outlay

Central Railway – Soft upgrades improvements at stations – Rs.60 crore

Central Railway – Provision of foot over bridges and/or high level platforms at stations as per requirement – Rs.   80 crore
